Steigenberger Hotel Group

The Egyptian Travco Group International Holding S.A.E. is the majority shareholder in Steigenberger Hotels AG. Travco is one of the largest integrated tourist trusts in the Arab world and is based in Cairo, Egypt. The Travco Group is owned and was founded by the El Chiaty family. The company was founded in 1979 and is run by Hamed El Chiaty, his wife Dora and his children Tania and Karim.
