Entering a profession at Steigenberger is the start into a future with numerous opportunities and prospects.
Apprenticeship training in the dual system as a rule lasts 3 years. If you have the appropriate preparatory training (e.g. if you have attended a one-year hotel training college), it may be possible to reduce your training time or, if you gain very good marks in your training course, to take the final examination early.
We offer the following trainee trades:
- Cook
- Restaurant manageress/manager
- Hotel manageress/manager
- Hotel accountant
- Euro-Hotel accountant
- Apprenticeship training in co-operation with vocational academies
- Office administrator
- Certificate in Event Management
Training places are not awarded centrally. Before submitting an application, please enquire at our hotels about the relevant application dates. You will find here whether training places are currently available.
At the Steigenberger Academy you can take the one-year professional foundation course. Recognised by the Chamber of Trade & Industry, the Steigenberger Academy in Bad Reichenhall is the only college in Germany to make a firm offer of a subsequent training place within Steigenberger Hotels AG, providing marks and social skills justify this.
